The new interior kitchen had custom cherry and maple cabinets, the lighted cabinets in the butler’s pantry area, well zoned work spaces, a roll-out drawer for the bread maker to function in situ, a compact and functional message center, and great connection to the family room—but the best natural light was from a new skylight. Tiles from a trip to Tunesia quickly found a place as the “window” over the sink, framed by black glass accents.
